I dreamt of being an artist while studying Chinese at Tufts University. After a life-changing conversation with a friend and a streak of early painting sales, I quit my post-college job in advertising and started making art full-time.
That was thirteen years ago. I have been living the dream ever since.
The portraits I create are all done in oil paint on stretched canvas. To see the full range of my artwork please visit my studio website here.
My paintings have been spotted at the deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum and Boston University's 808 Gallery, in Cookie Magazine, Dwell, The San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Home, and American Artist. My works hang in collections across the United States and Canada, in Europe, Hong Kong and the Bahamas.
I work from my studio in New York, New York.
